When I'm not spending time blogging, scrapping, crafting, or dreaming - I can be found avoiding housework like the plague, running kids here and there, pretending I make the healthiest of dinners, and cheering for the Cubs.
I also enjoy singing, acting (not that I do much of it these days), and hanging out with my husband and friends.
1. Were You Named After Anyone?
Technically, yes…albeit a fictional character. My parents are Neil Diamond fans and when they heard the song, Shilo they thought it sounded like a cute name for a girl. Little did we know that the song is actually referring to an imaginary friend, who’s a guy!
2. When Was the Last Time You Cried?
Probably recently. I can’t really nail down a time, but I know I can get super emotional and get weighed down easily.
3. Do You Like Your Handwriting?
Sometimes, sometimes no. Really depends on what I’m writing…
4. What is Your Favorite Lunch Meat?
Ham or turkey
5. Do You Have Kids?
Yup, 7 of them.
6. Do You Still Have Your Tonsils?
Yes, yes I do.
7. Would You Bungee Jump?
Honestly, it looks fun - even for someone with a fear of heights. However, I'd have to have every reassurance in the book that nothing would go wrong and I'd be 1000% safe.
8. What is Your Favorite Cereal?
I really don’t like cereal. But if I HAVE to choose one I usually go with Cinnamon Toast Crunch or Honey Nut Cheerios.
9. Do You Untie Your Shoes When You Take Them Off?
Nope
10. What is Your Favorite Ice Cream?
Mint chocolate chip, cookie dough, and good ol’ vanilla
11. What is Your Least Favorite Thing About Yourself?
That I beat myself up over the tiniest of mistakes.
12. Who Do You Miss the Most?
I can’t narrow it down to one. All of my grandparents and my father-in-law have passed away and I miss them all and I miss them a lot!
13. Favorite Smells?
Cinnamon, Vanilla, Cinnamon Vanilla, Lavender
14. Mountain Hideaway or Beach House
Mountain hideaway
15. Favorite Sport to Watch?
Baseball

Pretty much daily…I really hate glasses

There’s a fine line between the kids laughing and playing together and complete silence. I also enjoy the rain, at times.

Each of my girls has a bunny. One is named DaVinci and one is named Daisy, and yes they are kept away from each
other.
